on the left hand side, drop down all the lists and choose add a caption to movie. then you type in what you want it to say, choose font, colour , size and effect.

are you trying to put the lyrics on the screen as the song is sung? like if the song says 'hi' then the lyric says hi?
cus i dont know how to do that
but to get a title or subtitle onto the 'clip' go to edit, then title and credits, then title on the selected clip, but i think the words are just cut off when there isnt any more room in the box to write.
Click "Make Titles Or Credits, And You Can Go Onto The Timeline Of WIndows Movie Maker And You Can Make Each Lyric As Long As He/She Sings The Lyric
