its a pretty complex procedure to take the voice out of the background music
it would require complex filtering and so on
the easiest way to take the vocals out if you're are lucky enough is to get a program with noise filtering like "Audacity" and set the noise sample to the background music and apply the filter over the vocal parts
this way you should end up with a good enough vocals for adding to remixes
i have a program called adobe audition which works very well with doing such stuff, it can remove whatever you want (background noises, voices, etc.) its a little expensive though.
