First one is much better in my opinion. I have them both and I love Carrie Underwood, but I immediately liked the whole first CD and her second one has still not totally grown on me. I love her version of the Randy Travis song "I told you so" though. It is my favorite one on her second CD. I also like "So small" a lot.

I liked the first one, Jesus Take the Wheel was such a strong song for her, and now with American Girl out on the radio, it just sounds to poppy.

Between Some Hearts and Carnival Ride, I think Carnival Ride album is better because Carrie recorded all inspirational songs in this album..
Some Hearts is good, you know, with her succesful single, "Before He Cheats".
But I think Carnival Ride made my heart just you know!
I think that both albums are good. I personally prefer her second album, Carnival Ride. Although neither album is really country she is more a pop artist than a country artist in my opinion but that depends on what you consider country.
