Can we suggest to Yahoo about starting a new catagory for Emo/indie or what not?!

Music is music.
So what, people have different taste in music. It doesn't mean YOU have to love it.
And putting questions like those, you said, in the R&P section would be the right place because most Emo music is Alernative music and Alternative music is a form of Rock music. I guess its a neat idea but personally I don't really care.
I'm completely with you on this. Rock is supposed to be raw, in your face music, not whiny music where guys dress like girls, with too much makeup, and sing in whiny, girly voices, with whiny, teen angsty lyrics.

I hope people don't confuse indie for emo.
Emo is the genre we all hate to talk about, Indie is just saying what type of record label a band is on.
And as for you question, I think we need all the crazed 9and I emphasize crazed) fangirls get quarantined in some back corner of anaswers : P
ummm i do agree.....but somtimes i do ask emo and screamo questions in the rock and pop...sooo yeahh
uh, no. emo sucks. it should just fade away. theey should seperate rock/pop though.
Isnt this catagory suppose to be for ALL types of rock?Thats stupid to exclude it just because you dont like.If you dont like the quesion then dont answer it,its that simple.You people are making this whole war between the emo's way more complicated than it should be.Now, if you put Metal in Country,then that would be some funny $hit and and way more entertaining.

emo and indie are runoffs of the rock genre and indie and emo are nothing close so they don't belong in the same category either
