On January 7, 2008 the Black Crowes announced that for the first time in their 18-year career, they will perform an album in its entirety. On a special run of “One Night Only” shows beginning March 2 and wrapping March 20, fans will experience Warpaint – the group’s first album of all-new studio material in seven years, due out March 4 – in its entirety onstage, after which the band will perform songs from their catalog and selected surprises. The Black Crowes will launch an international tour March 24 when they play the East Coast Blues & Roots Music Festival in Australia. The band will continue its Australia and New Zealand tour — the first since 1992 — through April 5, and then play exclusive performances in London, UK at Brixton Academy April 9 and The Amsterdam Music Hall April 11. A major-market multiple-night U.S. tour will begin in May, with cities and venues to be announced in the near future.
In February 2008 the band criticized Maxim magazine for its review of Warpaint without first hearing it.

They have just released their new album "Warpaint". I dont know what the critics have said about it but it sounds pretty good.

For me, they've never really acheived the heights of Shake Your Money Maker again, although By Your Side restored my faith in them after the nobrot that was Amorica.
Aparantly they're recording again, though, so we'll see...

They are a cool rock band (despite all the ridiculous answers above). They are playing a one off date in Brixton soon (April sometime) and are touring all over.

They're currently touring in promotion of their new album, 'Warpaint'. They're performing the album in its entirety, followed by a few of their other songs. They're calling it the 'One Night Only' tour, and only making a few stops along the way. They're expected to hit more cities and play a broader setlist later this year.
