Are these songs really considered as "Standards".?!

Question: Amel Larrieux revived these songs from 40s to 50c and the albums is entitled "Lovely Standards"
I'm not sure if they are all standards, and I only know one song..Shadow Of Your Smile. which I'm sure it is a standard.

If I Were A Bell (performed by Miles Davis and Dinah Washington), standard

Try Your Wings (performed by Blossom Dearie) IMHO no standard

Lucky To Be Me (performed by Bill Evans) most certainly a standard

Wild Is The Wind (performed by Nina Simone, Helen Merrill, Shirley Horn, Ahmad Jamal) standard

Shadow Of Smile (performed by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Astrud Gilberto, Wes Montgomery and many others) most certainly a standard

You’re My Thrill (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Ben Webster, Al Bowlly) most certainly a standard

Younger Than Springtime (Oscar Peterson, Chet Baker) most certainly a standard

Something Wonderful (Nina Simone) standard from Rogers & Hammerstein

If I Loved You (Dinah Washington, Frank Sinatra) standard from Rodgers & Hammerstein

I Like The Sunrise (Duke Ellington) standard

I would say most of them are standards but more for singing than instrumental jazz.

Those are probably Pop standards (although I've never heard of most of them), but NOT jazz standards. Are you interested in jazz standards by female vocalists?

As I understand it there are:

Standards (American song book and Tin Pan Alley stuff)
Jazz Standards (original jazz compositions Monk, Mingus, Shorter Hancock etc..)
Pop Standards ( Covering Bjork, Beatles, Radiohead etc)

This album seems to be Standards in the sense of American Song Book titles and yes the titles all fit.

The exception to this rule is when big band composers were the "pop" composers but that stuff is usually lumped in with the American Song Book e.g. Ellington
