Nope.
The Artic Monkeys as a band have not split up, seeing as they won a billion NME and Britz awards, I don't think they're any way close in spliting up.
Howevvverrr....Alex Turner has given out details of his side project called Last Shadow Puppets.They are releasing an album called The Age of the Understatement as their debut I think its coming out soon.

No...Alex is doing an album with another guy (I can never remember his name) but he will then also be doing an album with the Arctic Monkeys, hopefully later this year.
