Why dont Scotland and Wales have songs in the Eurovision Song Contest?!
Question: Actually from next year Scotland COULD have an entry in Eurovision, as we approached them about that & they said there was nothing to stop us as technically speaking Scotland is part of the EBU. As I am sure other answeres have said, it is total rubbish, but makes for a great night to get absolutely rat arsed & laugh along with Terry Wogan as the political voting commences.
It's the fact that it is so rubbish & tacky that makes it compulsive viewing.

Scotland and Wales are SEPERATE countries, not England.

If you watch the lead up show, you can see that they do choose from a selection of entrants from all over the uk.
