god no way is singing bad!! everyone luvs singing and people listen to people singing so how can it be bad...=)
if you wanna get famous, you should find yourself a band first. get on with serious composing with your band, then keep practising your songs together. then you should record your songs together, then upload them to myspace.com under the music section. that's what the singer Kate Nash did, then a manager spotted her on the website, thought she was good, then found her a label.
you could always try youtube as well.
try performing at talent shows as well - not just school ones, but public ones in city halls or something. i'm sure you'll build a local fanbase and while you're performing you never know if someone important who owns a label is watching you.
Ummm...no? Why would loving singing be bad? Anyway, just promote yourself as much as possible. Perform at your local cafe or something like that. Record demo tapes and march right up to record companies and hand it in at the front desk.
