Perfect audition. . .?!
Question: Ok then, there is no such thing as a perfect audition, but I want to get as close as I can. I'm auditioning for My County Idol and I have a few questions. What do you think would make a great audition song for someone about 13-15? I can sing, but it sometimes I don't have a wide high-low range. Other days I do, so it varies a bit.
Do you have any special tips about auditioning? Maybe the interview, or what I should do with my hands while singing? In a few years, I want to try out for American Idol if it still exists. So any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

I want to tell you to just have fun with it! Everyone's pitches change every once and a while, so don't worry, but just to be sure make sure you warm up! I recommend Circle Game-by Joni Mitchell. I've gotten a lot of plum parts with that song, that is, if you don't have a specific genre you like to sing. I would just say that you have to do what is natural to do with your hands. I wish you luck with finding a song! Break a leg!!
