Anything pop is good. Avril Lavigne is good, just stay away from Maraih Carey, Whiney Houston ect

i would highly reccomend "Let Go" by Frou Frou. But if cant go that high yet i would definely go with michelle branch or venessa carlton. "Leap of Faith" by michelle branch is amazing, and its easy.
and im in a band too, but we cant agree on anything so we are breaking up

Well, if you want something to easily compare to, start with Paramore, anything mainstream because then you'll know exactly how it needs to sound. For there, just go off into anything less known, indie, whatever.
