What one and only song sounds most like The Beatles but isn't?!

Question: When I say sounds like The Beatles, I mean it sounds like they are performing the song but they aren't.
This was a number 1 song in the UK and the U.S.
One hint for the wise: It also sounds like they wrote it.

I had this in another category earlier but cancelled it and moved it here - sorry, if anyone is bothered by that.

Badfinger - Day after Day

There was/is a lot to say about this song, but I've said most of it in my additional details. "A World Without Love" was the correct answer BTW. There is actually a BMI album called "Songs The Beatles Gave Away". Report It

It is interesting that some are answering Badfinger...and that was my first thought (they had a rep as sounding like The Beatles),... and I agree that No Matter What sounds a lot like The Beatles, but I don't think Badfinger ever had a No. 1 hit in the U.S.

Plus, Oasis has a retro sound, but sounding like The Beatles are performing it?????? I don't think so. Did they have a No. 1 in the U.S.?

    Thinking....

I think Keane sounds like the beatles, especially the song "Somewhere Only We Know".

Sorry, I know it wasn't #1 in both the UK and US, I just wanted to point it out.

Oasis was a band that kinda sounded like the Beatles. Their song Champange Supernova sounded a LOT like the Beatles...

Bad Finger the song is No Matter What You Do!

OK, I'll give it a shot.

Actually, of all Badfinger songs, "Come and Get it" sounds
the most like the Beatles. As well it should. Was written
by Paul and when Badfinger recorded it he made them get
it as close to his demo as possible.
