I think the South has some of the most painstakingly hard to repeat beats but I think the West Coast has some of the best lyricists.
no the best beats are from the west coast
west has best beats east has best lyrics( but its debatable east or west) and south has the best... well lets just say they have scarface and thats about it.
Southern Rappers don't make their beats but still don't have the best ones Sorry.
It's never wise to make sweeping generalizations, if your hot your hot. And if your not, well you know the rest.
Southern rappers don't have the best beats, they just rap over the best beats. You could be from Antarctica and rap over dr.dre, just blaze or swizz beatz beats, and sound good.
But northern rappers are the best lyrically, even though New York is carrying the eastside on it's back. Same with compton for westside.

east runs the Lyrics department.. big time.... West gots the beats... and the South just embarrasses hip hop... the south just comes up wth the cheezy stuff literally.. the south is the regiopn to blame for hip hop to be so wack now adays... they are responsible for the soulja boys, the bow wows, the paul walls, the mike jones, the chicken noodle soups..the cheesiest gender ever.... Jermain Depree started this crap too!!!! it all started when it became cool to shake that laffy taffy,,,, and oh they think they like me... its went down from there... and my question is..... do southern people really think they are running rap right now?....lol
