Has anyone heard of a band called '''Soundgarden'' ?!
Question: They sing a song called ''Black Hole Sun'', i only came across them about 6 months ago and i love this song, does anyone know what their album(s) are like, are they worth buying?

oh definitely. Soundgarden's been around since the 90's, and I think late 80's....
'Blackhole Sun' isn't exactly their typical sound, since it's a single....Their other stuff is pretty awesome...It's a lot heavier than that song, but that's what makes it soo good....Cornell's got some pipes....and looks too! haha
You should probably get the album Superunknown....'Blackhole Sun' is on it, and so is 'Fell on Black Days' (which kicks ***!!!), and you might have heard 'Spoonman'.....Good investment....

Yeah I remember when this song came out - must be more than 10 years ago. It was always on MTV. Its the only song I've heard from them.
Totally! Chris Cornell (frontman - now solo and Audioslave) was original man in "Grunge". Very influential and talented musician in Seattle. Soundgarden's albumS are totally worth buying if you like real music. His solo stuff, including James Bond theme tune, is good too, but Soundgarden are the real thing! Have fun!
yes some of their songs are my favorite from different cd's of course you can listen 2 samples at CDUNIVERSE.COM that's where i go sometime 2 hear sample of my favorite songs from different bands... glad 2 answer :)
They were part of the grunge scene in the 90's, not really my cup of tea, a bit too metal but better than a lot of stuff I suppose, check out the Pixies, Dinosaur Jr and Screaming Trees

There's a greatest hits type CD called A-Sides which has tracks from across their whole career. All those mentioned above are on it.
