Fellow Black Crowes fans : Thoughts on 'Warpaint'?!

Question: I finally bought it last night. Overall, I like it. Some of the songwriting is classic Robinson brothers. There's nothing too risk-taking here, but that's never been what the Crowes did. I particularly like "Whoa Mule", "Wee Who See The Deep", and "Goodbye Daughters Of The Revolution". Start to finish, I'd give it a solid three out of five stars. It's certainly not 'Amorica', but it's not 'Lions', either.

Thoughts?

Goodmorning Deke.. I purchased this last week..got home and poured myself a nice glass of jd and coke and turned this on. I really love it, it seems no matter if they are rockin or doing ther bluesy tunes the Robinson Brothers never fail. My fav are " We who see the Deep" and "Goodbye Daughters of the revolutin and" Movin on Down the Line" , But over all I give it a 4. I will be going and seeing them live in a couple of weeks. the show is sold out.

People still listen to the Black Crowes?? My thoughts would be why would those posers punish music lovers by releasing more of their swill!

I agree. Its a good listen, but nothing really stands out. No "killer rock track" on it.
