Answers: I feel quite light headed.. I wonder if I'm breathing correctly..

It might in the beginning. Perhaps you should sit down and fully relax when you try it again. Don't be uptight. You should be totally free in the exercise. Make sure you have your hands on your abdomen to feel the movement. The more you practice it, the more acclemated your body will feel to it.

Also, I would suggest incorporating diaphragmatic breathing in your everyday life. If you are sitting down somewhere, try it. If you are standing somewhere waiting for something or someone, automatically try diaphragmatic breathing. I do it so much that it is how I naturally breathe.

Its not uncommon for some to get dizzy during practice. But eventually it will go away. I have advice on diaphragmatic breathing in my Q & A section if you want to check it out. Keep up the good work.

No it shouldn't which is why singers need to use it in case they're singing for long periods of time. However, any time you breathe too much too fast too deeply your lungs can't handle some of the air so it gets sent to your brain. So see if you can stretch longer between breaths or maybe stop singing for a while. This should help the problem.

Actually, it's quite common, until you get used to it that is, then the felling should go away
