I HATE the word shawty. Every rapper uses it, its so friggin annoying. Is it like the new cool word or what I dont get it? I seriously rather listen to snoop talking about hoes and bitchez then chris brown how he loves "shawty"

Lol, it's slang. Slang will always be around, and half the time it will get annoying quick. But to be honest, I love that word.
What's ruining rap is the **** like Soulja Boy, Shop Boyz, D4L, and even Shawty Lo... I like Shawty Lo, but he IS ruining the RHH.
omg!!! u hate chris brwon singing bout his shawty...he makes it sound sooo good!! but i hate it wen they beefin with each other for no reason at all. like wat 50 cent did with kanye west..dat wasnt neccessary at all.

I hate that rap in general hasn't grown at all since the 90's (death of Biggie and 2pac). Rap has just become a contest about who's got the most b!tches, money, cars, hoes, clothes, and all those, but you'd never face it the baby is crying, but it's the rap game that keeps on... dying.
besides lil wayne? ummm jus the fact that every song has to deal with either, drugs, guns, or extortin girls in some way, watever happened to jus tellin a story in a song or anything real? not everyone slangs coke or pops gats theres still decent people in the hood u kno wat im sayin, but then again not everyones clean, i also hate how little dudes like hurricane chris r makin songs bout clubs when there only like 16? u aint sippin on nothin youngin get dat $hi+ out ya mouth fool
I agree, thats one of the stupidest words ever put into a rap song. Who honestly can walk up to a girl and call her "shawty"..thats sounds so stupid and sounds like something a little kid would say..
i hate chris brown and all that slow whiny boo-hoo breakup music..R&B is what its called i guess, i hate it and every beat for those songs is the exact same!

I hate how people descriminate against rap and call rock better. Theres trash rock and trash rap, considering one better than the other is just ingnorant. Why not let people listen to what they want than to constantly say "Oh my, thats garbage!" I'm all for expressing your opinion, but why say all rap is bad when you aren't even a fan? It's not like everyone here is flocking to the rock section and yellling BYOB sucks, even though we could. I try to keep it as a mutual respect, but it gets aggrovating.

I hate how commercialised it all is, mostly rapping about how much money they make, how many hoes they got, how many cars, and not actually rapping about things with meaning, the rap is all for the money now not about the fans and the lyrics.. Thats what i hate.
One thing that i hate about raps today are that they do not have feeling. In evry song you here someone gon shoot someone brains out or someone gon F*** ya chick, and more stuff!! Some of these rappers today haven't even got closed to gun. Also some of them rap like they are in pre-school and that right there needs to stop too!! That right there really gets the hell on my nerves!!! So here is some advice before you put a tape out there about yourself please listen to yourself first and think about it!!
That wanna be rap fans think commercial rap is real hip hop and claims Soulja Boy is the best rapper today when he can't even rap.

That Hip Hop has become so big (commercially) that inferior product gets a lot more play these days.
I hate when people label every African-American R&B singer as a Rap/Hip-Hop artist.
That people would rather listen to Soulja Boy than better artists. Ex. Nas, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco to name a few
I wouldn't even be able to tell you one thing that I LIKED about today's rap.
