What country songs do you find to be extremely obnoxious?!
Question: Sometimes there are songs that you just want to tune out, either because they aggravate the crap out of you, or because you really don't like them. In the Country genre, which ones really grate on your nerves? Mine are:
"Don't take the girl..." - Whiny and sappy. Another one of those boy grows up with girl and marries her, and then she dies songs... This one has been at the top of my list since it came out.
"The Dollar..." - Don't get me started on how irresponsible I think the mother is for telling her husband to come home early instead of making money to feed his kid and pay for the various necessities.
"Don't take her, she's all I've got..." or whatever the song is called. It would almost be a decent song until he starts talking about kissing the ground in the wintertime and making a flower grow. I mean, what the crap? That doesn't even fit in the song, and it doesn't even make sense.

Kerosene by Miranda Lambert the beat and her voice just annoy the crap outta me I'd like to take some kerosene and watch her burn

Most country now is crap. One song that particularly comes to mind is "I Got a Brand New Girlfriend". I don't know who sings it, but all my friends listen to it and I can't stand it!
Shift work by Kenny Chesney, it seems to go on and on and on and on and ......
i like them all right now but some times a new one comes out that i dont like at first but i get to like it after awhile
anything by Gretchen Wilson i dont even consider her country any more but if were talking songs now theres one bout the note the one where the mans all sappy wich is bull because theres 5 women for every man where i live

"Don't Take the Girl" IS whiny and sappy, but it has nothing on "Honey," which may well be the worst song ever made. And it was a POP song, so why it was a #1 country hit is beyond me.
"Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" - horrid, and it's rock and roll to boot.
"Coward of the County" - oh, please. Just the song every rape victim wants to hear coming out of their speakers.
"Fancy" - if Bobbie Gentry's ode to the common hooker wasn't bad enough, Reba McEntire had to come along and remake it!

anything by miranda lambert, your gonna miss this (not sure who its by), anything by big and rich (except save a horse and the new one about marrying a girl), ummm...theres alot out there just not coming up w/ them right now. i have to completely disagree w/ dont take the girl, its one of my faves.
