Yahoo Answer Employee's Personal Opinion = Violation For The Answerer ?! (Re!


Question: In my opinion.....I don't think yahoo is too smart when it comes to "Enforcing The Guidelines". A day ago they said I insulted someone because I answered with a partial question with "what you been smoking?"...that's not even an insult..compared to what I been reading on Yahoo answers every week with insulting answers like.."are you retarded?" or "are you stupid?" or "How dumb can you be?"(yeah I know these are questions but you know what I mean).

How can The People who enforce the yahoo answer guidelines say this is decent & this isn't..when it's common sense to a normal human being to know which is an insult.

IMO...I think it depends on what the topic is & what's the PERSONAL OPINION of the employee at yahoo is.......Does anyone know what I mean?

P.S: I put this question here because it happens here sometimes as well...so it does apply to this section.

yeah i know what ur talking about. them people are full of crap!!! I think if some one reports a person or a question they just delete it or give u a violation. I don't think that they really actually look and see. I have fought all of my violations and they just send the guideline of what it could have been. Never did I get an actual response to what exactly what my violation was.
omg does it really matter? its just yahoo answers. are u gonna die b/c u dont have enough points? seriously Report It

    did it really matter that much that you had to post a question about it?
    Someone probably reported you for your answer. I think that is the key.

    Yea i posted a lyric that had nothing bad about it at all at someone reported i have an idea of who but still why did yahoo approve it. Honestly i dont think anybody reviews them i think if you have a question reported more then 2 times it just automatically deletes it.
    This happens to me all the time! They don't bother to investigate anything. They will just remove your question or delete your answer. And then they say you can dispute it, but really you can't because either A. they don't respond back or B. they still incense that you where in the wrong. I just go with the punches...cause I'm not gonna win either way!
    i agree the full 100... i *JUST NOW* got an reply on my appeal to get my original account back, and they told me that my "account is not eligible for reinstatement."- I *STILL* don't know what I did that called for them to suspend me! I don't even violate the rules like that... its crazy

    exactly! i got reported for asking someones shoe size and height and i got reported for making a question saying to ask me a question because i was bored
