Classical music: help!!?!

Question: I've heard this classical piece of music and it's really bugging me; I need to know what it is!!!
All I know is, it sounds really 'end of the world' with lots of brass and drums. It's like a war theme, you can just imagine tanks rolling past to it.
This is really random, but it's played briefly in the episode of The Simpsons were Homer's mom comes back. Mr Burns tries to play it whilst in his tank, but Smithers has taped over it with 'Waterloo'.
Thanks lots!!!

My guess would be "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss. Check out the video.

wow, that could be a variety of pieces

look at Beethoven, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, sheesh...have u tried to find it on YouTube?

Sounds like the last one minute of Tchaikowsy's 1812 Overture.

My vote woulde be for
Wagner -Ride of the Valkyries

My guess, Ride of the Valkyries by R. Wagner.

My guess would be "Mars, Bringer of War" from Holst's "The Planets" , check it out :

Musician, composer, director.

Is it Mars, the bringer of war, by Holst?
