Oh don't be so hard on the girl! She's only 12! Listen, if you want to get smarter, read ,read classics, world history expand your vocabulary! But no, listening to music while you sleep will not help. If you want to get smarter you're just going to have to get there the hard way darlin'.
This or a very similar question gets asked about once per week. Didn't you see that as you constructed your question? No, listening to classical music doesn't make you smarter. I doubt it will help your spelling either!
Studying classical music will help you improve your knowledge base. Also, the more you understand it, the more you'll like it and you'll have a whole new genre of music you'll enjoy listening too because you now understand it and appreciate it. It's been proven that kids with music lessons do better in school. 60% of all music majors get into medical school. Music is great for you (as are all arts)
