Gosh, another hard decision, but...
1. Kelly Price - high range, passion, & emotion. Her vocals are simply soul deep.
2. Tamia - smooth vocals, which she delivers effortlessly. I love her mezzo-sorprano style. She doesn't have to resort to exaggerated vocals, she has a naturally beautiful tone which shines on her songs:
e.g. Keep Hope Alive

3. Patti Labelle - her range is pretty sweet (ability to deliver a 5 octave range) I just love her signature vocal style.
4. Ann Nesby - she has a superior vocal range, plus she has a lot of soul and passion in her delivery
5. Whitney Houston - powerhouse house vocals. She is one of those artists whose vocal presence just allows you to fall in love with the art of cover art (e.g. "For The Love of You")
honerable mentions *sigh*: Teena Marie, Angela Winbush, Chante Moore, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Keke Wyatt, etc.
