I Love "Famous Last Words"
I like them, however I think they tend to be over-rated. My friend Sam is absolutly obsessed with them and has about 10 posters in her room, its like entering a Gerard Way shrine. Not to bash on any fans, but Gerards, lacking, vocals are sort of a dissapointment to the amazing talent of the musicians in the band. I think that with a decent singer the band could be truly incredible. In the meantime, Gerards squealing on the mic is sort of headache inducing.

I like their first 2 albums a lot. I admit that "Kick out the Jams" was such an excellent debut that it made their sophomore effort "Back in the USA", pale somewhat in comparison. Their career, as with many artists who were considered "ahead of their time" was cut far too short. The overall impact and influence that MC5 would eventually have on the hardcore/punk scene cannot be overstated, in my opinion.
