Yes, it sounds aweful. Things can only be done so much before it gets boring. Remakes are especially nasty.
I think what they are trying to do is release new things to younger people. Younger people have probley not heard the old stuff so when they hear remakes they are excited.
Because their copying the old bands and its not working on them. xD
if you're referring to the stuff you hear on top 40 radio, well that's supposed to be crap. never mind that.
i miss the music from the '70s, '90's and there are some good rock songs out from early '00 to now, but they can't sound like the past because that was it, the past. I'm sure folks in the 60's or 50's couldn't stand the rock music being played with guitar (remember it was all piano).
That guitar is the devil I'm sure some of them thought.
