Hey there Dave.
For Steve & Billy, this gig was just another freelance(especially in Vai's case)job and a step up to bigger and better things.Vai went on to Whitesnake then his solo career really took off now HE'S the over inflated ego buffoon.
Billy could have taken the world by storm after Mr. Big if he played his cards right, but now plays second fiddle to Vai.
Bissonett-mmm.I dunno.I'll agree he's a top drummer, played with ELO,session work but nothing worthy.Always known as that DLR drummer.
Now Dave...sheeyit.Yeah,he's a mouth alright. But uses it to promote. He is a good singer actually.Or rather was back in the day when Ed cared more about making music than money. And that was a few years back now right.
So.This band was really to me just a session super band. The best that could be bought back in the last halcyon days of ROCK!
I still love 'em & play 'em religiously.

i like joe satriani better. hes more versatile in his music. and he did teach steve vai how to play the guitar :)

who the **** are these guys

Great lineup!! I love the stuff they put out...Billy and Steve just shred!!! Only difference Id like to see is the drummer.....Greg fit the band well, but I always wondered how some it would have sounded with a drummer like Dean Castronova!!! And I must agree, DLR IS one of the greatest frontman!!! Anyone got a glazed donut??

This was the band that DLR put together after he left Van Halen, isn't it? There seemed to be room for only one big headed buffoon on the tour bus...and that belonged to DLR. He unfortunately believed he was all that. Steve went on to a solo career, Billy put together Mr Big, and while they had some success in North America, they were huge in Japan.

I'm not into 'glam rock'.
I want to be entertained by the music and the songs, not some over inflated ego jumping around in 'Frilly's'.

Probably the reason they broke up, as much as I hate say it...most likely Dave's huge ego.

Don't get me wrong, I loved this band, I went and saw them on the first 2 tours. Both fantastic shows!
