Is anyone else worried about the state of the music industry?!

Question: I just listened to Damaged - by Danity Kane - now although I love the beat and it's really sexy - it's about a girl or girls who start a new relationship but warn the guy that previous relationships have left her heart damaged.

The opening line is: "Do you have a first aid kit handy"

I mean come on.......

I am worried. There's no originality in it today which pretty much ruins the whole concept of music and being able to express yourself through it. It's also a shame that so many untalented artists are gaining fame, which causes more copycats to follow along in the same footsteps of having the same exact sounding poppy song.
In the end, we can still turn to those bands and artists that are serious about their music and actually put out something decent sounding.

I'm not worried I just listen to the old stuff.

Sounds like there might be a "hater" in the house. The song is not that bad. Danity Kane was never a #1 band to start with. But let's not jump up and player hater on them either!!!
