Why do people put "hip hop/rap" in their questions?!

it's an obsessive/overly descriptive thing, because some people think hip hop is like gay dance music and some people think rap is like hardcore gangstuh sh*t. so "hip hop/rap" is like a combo of them both, kinda like poppy hip hop, like lil wayne+chris brown or something, idk
i do because thats one itunes considers it. lol jk. because in my opinion hip hop and rap are different. thats just my opinion. i admit i do this in my questions
Because Hip Hop is the culture. Rap is the art form that grew out of the culture...
i dont put "hip hop/rap" this in my questions but i do think hip hop is different from rap .....i am a true hip hop head and dont like for hip hop 2 be called rap..... thats why i think people may do this???!!!
rap= solja boy(?), flo-rida ect
hip hop= gang starr, krs-one, wu tang ect.....

I've never done that , and it would make sense if I'm talking to the RHH community
