I'm looking for the artist of a song from the mid-late 1970s?!

Question: It was a re-issue of an old song from the 1930s called 'No Strings', which was sung by Fred Astaire.

It was re-issued on a 45 rpm record and sung by a guy but I don't know who. It didn't get high in the charts though. I checked for 'Pasadena Roof Orchestra' and 'Temperance Seven' but it wasn't recorded by them. I did have the single record but it's been lost, and also on tape but that's been lost also.

allmusicguide.com shows that the only recorded version of this song in the 70s was done by Gino Cunico. Other than that there is a recorded version done by Lani Hall in 1981 and another recorded version by Johnny Mathis in 1964. I do not believe I found your answer but that is what I could find.
