take paradiddle exercise, practice it by heart if you do have a passion at playing drums. my friend who teaches extreme level at drums at yamaha school left me with this secret.

google paradiddle, many drum tabs there and then try it just by using your hands and lap. then apply it on the snare. then try to hit your sticks on the rimshot.
