Temple of the dog OR Mad Season?!
Question: These two side projects out of Seattle during the grunge days were both absolutely fantastic. Thanks to Darth for the reminder, My pain, is also self chosen.
My pick: Temple of the Dog
Wooden Jesus, Pushing forward back, Times of trouble just to name a few of the great songs off that one.
I just blew the dust off that CD

You're right, they are both awesome side projects. As much as I enjoyed Temple Of The Dog, I think I liked Mad Season even more. I always thought of their album as a lost Alice In Chains CD.
i love temple of the dog--mad season is really good too, however...what about mother love bone? love them...too bad music will never be that good again...
Temple of the dog
any day
Temple of the Dog- c'mon- Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell... The song Crazy Mary (on top of the solid picks you threw out). Still good music and a solid piece of the musical history of the time and place!
mad season
Mad Season, because Layne does vocals
Mad Season!
Temple Of The Dog were also very good as well.
