Ozzy!
I started listening to Ozzy Sabbath before Dio Sabbath and still prefer Oz over Dio. Don't get me wrong, both are great, but Ozzy was the first and the best.
I like Sabbath with both singers. Ozzie was with them much longer though...I just wish Dio would have done more albums with them, b/c I love Heaven and Hell.

how could anyone say dio? ozzys a legend!!! the prince of darkness....he could never be replaced....sabbath was way better with ozzy!
dude...Ozzy was Black Sabbath, his voice can not be replaced or beaten, his voice was perfect for songs like war pigs and hole in the sky and iron man, i could go on and on but he is better

Ozzy was Black Sabbath in it's birth....But if I had to pick the best Black Sabbath album, I would have to choose Dio's Heaven and Hell.
I don't think there is a wrong answer here. I do think that each singer brought their best to the Black Sabbath table and each one became much more than that as a result....

Ozzy. I like Dio's voice, but I don't like him as a person. Ozzy is classic and no one will ever replace him. All Dio does is bash other people and that makes me not like him at all. Ozzy is the god!!!
I 've been a Black Sabbath Fan since the early 70's and Ozzy made Black Sabbath I have Most of their albums to include the ones with Ronnie James Dio And Ian Gillian

I will always think of Ozzy and Black Sabbath together, but Heaven and Hell is my favorite Sabbath album. (Yes, I bought it on vinyl when it first came out.)
Anyone that says dio is a complete and utter fool. That dude isn't worthy of being in the same room as Ozzy. When was the last time that you heard a Sabbath song with dio on the radio? Go turn on your local classic rock station and I guarantee that you will hear an Ozzy-Sabbath song within two hours.

Love both, but Dio is the better singer. 'Fraid Ozzy couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
