First if you know your basic chords, alot of songs are just those. But if you are looking to get better at playing then I would go to a song and lyrics internet sight and look up the songs you really want to play, b/c it's not what's easy to play, it's what you enjoy playing.

That didn't make sense. You asked what songs you would like to play on the guitar, not the chord progressions. Makes no sense. I guess will you learn the more difficult chords, little one. Report It

Brain stew is extremely easy to play. Slow pace and easy fingering. Also most songs by Nirvana.

best to start off with deep purple's "smoke on the water" or "child in time". they're dead easy!

spirit crusher by Death. very easy to play if you play the rhythm

Black Sabbath -Ironman is the first song I learned

    time of ur life's easy
    boulivard of broken dreams
    when i come around
minority (except intro which can be tricky..)

    Ben Harper-Not Fire, Not Ice
CCR-I Heard It Through The Grape Vine
Mark Seymour-Throw Your Arms Around Me (great song btw)

Wild Thing by Hendrix / The Troggs

Even I can play it !!

    "Tomorrow" - Avril Lavigne
"Wake Me Up When September Ends" - Green Day
"Time of Your Life" - Green Day
    "Waiting" - Green Day
"All the small things" - Blink 182
"Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd
    "Penny Lane" - The Beatles

I've been playing for six years now. I will show you relatively easy songs to play:

Rolling Stones- Can't Get No Satisfaction
    The Who- I Can't Explain
    Cream- Sunshine of Your Love
John Mayer- Waiting On The World To Change
    Beatles- Baby It's You
