What intervals should I use to tune my drums to ?!

Question: I have a set of Tama drums with 5 toms 10", 12", 13", 14" and 16" floor. I want to play classic rock and some metal , and I'm having trouble tuning them. (intervals) . Please help, Thanks.

I agree with the answer above. I have never tuned to notes. The big thing with drum tuning is to get a good sound without too many overtones and without having to over-muffle the drums so they sound like a cardboard box. People that do tune to notes generally tune in fifths.

I don't tune my toms that much, but just play around with them until you get the sound you want with it, its what I do and I love the way mine sound.
