Who's the best female vocalist?!
Question: I have a strange obsession with rock bands that feature female fronts.
My favorite leading ladies are Lacey Mosley of Flyleaf, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation, Anette Olzen of Nightwish, Hayley Williams of Paramore, and Shirley Manson of Garbage.

i think its great to hear chicks that are rockin, personally my favourite is within temptation.
I am a big fan of Hayley Williams. She has a really strong voice (in a good way!) and I also like whoever is the main singer in I:scintilla (don't know her name)
Okay I'm not too up on the modern rock bands with female vocalists, but I do like Amy Lee of Evanescence.
Of the older rock bands I loved Ann Wilson of Heart or Pat Benatar.
I love female fronted bands!!!! Your choice are Awesome!! I do prefer some classic vocals, like Ann Wilson of Heart, Pat Benatar, and the harmonies of ABBA to name a few

Don't care for today's music but I like Chrissy Hyndes(sp) of The Pretenders, The Wilson Sister of Heart, Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, Joan Jett of the Blackhearts & Janice Joplin, Lita Ford, Pat Benetar & Linda Ronstadt as solo artists & the Bangles & Go-Go's as all girl groups. I prefer classic rock over today's music any day
i know they are more radio rockish but i love Flyleaf's voice
