Question: when who i am was released i became obsessed with it. i got her first two cds and listened to every song. i even went to her concert! then she just...disappeared! i went to her website and she has new songs but why isn't she country anymore? what genre did she switch to?

She is still country. Her last album was scrapped when her label, Dreamworks Nashville, folded. She is busy writing with Jay Demarcus from Rascal Flatts on a new album to be out sometime soon.
