Question: well i cant seem to sound any better, and lessons are a lil much money for me right now....im not giving up on my dream but i feel so down...cause i jus dont think i can do it....can some1 get me to feel more positive plzzzzz!

I know it's a little old fashion (some might think), but you could join a local choir. Not only will you learn technique, but you will build your confidence and have training free. Keep in mind that commitment to a group like this requires a lot of dedication, but it will be worth it to achieve what you want. Look for a group which doesn't require a lot of experiance and are more for community service than anything. They normally are directed by a local H.S. music teacher and there you're source is for free teaching of music. Good Luck!
There is always room for improvment, keep singing, find an artist that you love to hear and match their voice exactly. Memorize the song and sing it with no music. You can really work on YOUR voice then. Let the music you like teach you!
Why dont try out for a play or a band...go singing at karoke bar....you also have to belive in yourself...
Keep practicing! And since you can't afford voice lessons, you can watch them online. There are some great videos on youtube that really helped me. If you work with them often they'll probably help you too. Here is one of the channels with a lot of voice lesson videos:
