Hold My Hand. Hootie and The Blowfish
Anything AC/DC is perfect for starting out. It helps you get a sense of what bar chords are and helps you make up your own songs by stringing them together. I suggest TNT or back in black.

in these songs the main riffs are what you should learn. i started off by learning these and iv got good at guitar because these make you good in different ways now people think i rule :p hope these help they are very fun and quick to learn
