MCR mosh pits??!

Question: Do they actually have them? I've heard they do.

Doesn't anyone but me think that'd be the worst/weakest pit ever? I'd go just to teach the emo kids how to mosh.

I don't even think MCR deserves a pit.

lol, there is a video like this some where....here it is, its not mcr but whatever, they're all the same

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ0eHnSTO...

hahahahaha they were just skipping in a circle....wtf thats hilarious

if the song was "our lady of sorrows" than definetely there should be a pit.
If it was "Sleep" then definetely not

They do, then they all go to a corner and write a poem on how the mosh pit hurt them, or that a certain mosher didn't touch him/her. But the first rule in a MCR pit is, no razors allowed in the pit

There is but its not even considered a mosh pit. It is so weak that they actually let you out of the pit, and they think Hardcore Dancing is the same as moshing. There not, they have been mislead. All they do in their mosh pits is push around, no one going for blood. Just push. Whats worse is the mosh pits can be stopped and is monitored by security. C'MON WHAT KIND OF MOSH PIT IS A PIT THAT CAN BE STOPPED?!

Lol.

Ya they have mosh pits, but usually there over whose make up is better. :-P

Be careful. They'll have lots of knives. But they'll already be weak from the loss of blood...don't cut your wrists before shows kids!

Edit: Haha, saw the youtube video!!! Is that moshing?? Looks more like a bunch of people skipping.

I don't know if MCR fans mosh, but I think I know their favorite dance lol.

It looked more like the MCR fans were doing a conga line. lmao

12 year old fat fangirls trying to mosh
hahahaha.

I'd like to see [escape from this after life] at a cannibal corpse show.

Yep, MCR has pussified pits. One girl got trampled in one and Gerard stopped the song till they helped her up and she was escorted to the first aid area. :|

EDIT- Wow that My Chem pit you posted looks more like a bunch of kids playing Ring Around the Rosie.

haha. if someone falls down pick them up. no one gets hurt. i got a kick out of that!

yes, mcr has a mosh pit. but it doesn't look any good. it's the ballroom dance of mosh pits.

wow if they do then that is pathetic.... why would you mosh at a concert that isn't Metal or Rock for that matter

MCR sucks

bury your dead has alot better pit than mcr......
it looks like mcr fans were just skipping around....

hahahahahaha
oh wow that must be like the sickest mosh pit ever, probably ever wilder than a plain white ts mosh pits

yeah they do they moshed me and my boyfriend out of our spot.....your right though tis a pretty weak pit.

nonpoint and hellyeah ones are awesome though, oddly enough i dont remember korn having one

Ha ha. It was like hippies skipping around.

Gerard Ways idea of a mosh pit is him getting rammed in the *** whilst singing IM NOT OKAY.

But no seriously when they played download a bunch of their fag parade friends tried to start one.

I believe someone urinated on them xD

oH really?? MCR got mosh pits??

or a bunch of gays waiting to be killed by a metal wall of death?

It IS skipping around. Honestly those little girls are clueless.

As far as stopping to help someone who fell? In a real pit if the band stops when someone falls, the band would never play.

In a REAL pit you can get hurt. Anyone who participates should know that. The world isn't going to end because little Britney got a boo-boo. Its a f'ing mosh pit. If you can't handle it , keep your *** out!

As for the MCR " pit" , that video just proved everything we have always said about those p******.

That is kind of funny. You wanna see a real mosh pit....go to Ozzfest (blood, many injured people), Lamb of God....Metal music has good mosh pits.

ehhh...i'm not even going to bother reading the other responses...

yeah some times they have mosh pits but not a lot of times. i don't really like mosh pits so i really don't care.

some of these answers are lame.

I've been to see MCR twice and the mosh pits are some of the most insane I've been in.
and no. there are no razors.

I don't think anyone would understand until they've actually been to see MCR live.

Damn you how mean can you get, and MCR is not emo. I think it's a good idea that if someone falls down they should be helped up, because it's better than being what u call "COOL" and have a few innocent kids die because of going to a concert. And they do have mosh pits, you need to look out of your box man, and could you call yourself a real music-lover when you diss other bands that have written their passion out into their songs? One word: self-interogation.

Ok, well obviously a lot of people are underestimating MCR, fair enough a lot of their 'emo' fans have kinda wrecked their reputation but it's not to say that they don't have mosh pits. I've been to their show, and while there wasn't a mosh pit for the entirety of the show it was pretty intense on their greatest rock songs. It wasn't as hardcore as a metal pit would be, for the obvious reason that they are NOT a metal band, how can you compare? They're however, a diverse band and therefore some of their songs aren't really in the 'hard rock' category, so there isn't always a pit.

And really do you people well and truly think MCR fans are pathetic enough to go into a mosh pit trying to commit suicide? Seriously!! Not ALL their fans are [emo] attention seekers, and it dissapoints me when the genuine fans get shot down because of the false fans who misrepresent them because they only are in it for the image.

MCR are my favourite band, and in spite of what a lot of people think they are a good band when you get down to the core of them. If the 'emo' scene hadn't come in they wouldn't have so many people who hate on them because of the misrepresentation MTV and all other media has given them.

MCR do have mosh pits, and while they might not be as hardcore as you and your pits for the metal-heads, they're an entirely different kind of genre with different music, people react differently. I appreciate whatever people interpret a proper 'mosh pit' is but really it just comes down to the bands, the music and the fanbase.
