What is the best Rock show you saw in a small club?!

Question: When I say small club I mean 1500 in capacity or less. If I never see a show in arena again it will be too soon.
Small clubs are the best, up close and personal.
Just to name a few I have seen: Fight w/Rob Halford, Soulfly, Blind Melon, The Refreshments, Drowning Pool

So...what about you?

I love seeing bands play in small venues. These are some of my favorites:

Weezer
Bush
Everclear
Candlebox
Sponge
Better than Ezra
Cheap Trick
Great White
Ratt

I saw all of these bands in the early to mid 90s in Portland, Oregon.

Megadeth w/ Iced Earth opening

Ted Nugent, Sioux City convention center in the 90's....basically a large high school gym. Freakin' awesome to be nearly eye to eye with the band

GWAR

i saw machine head in a pretty small place, i would guess 500 or so people, definently the best day of my life, that show was great, i was like a person from the stage

She Wants Revenge was much better in person than on the CDs, etc. Also, the singer yelled at a guy in the audience that was acting all crazy. That was really cool.

Danzig was ok.

Tori Amos is not Rock, but she grabs herself during club concerts. That's kind of interesting and shocking!

the toadies, nerf herder

As I Lay Dying, Still Remains, and Haste the Day. Awesome show. The pit was kind of small being in such a small venue though.

Seen a band a long time ago called "Bulletproof".....they were a country rock band and really rocked out.

12 Stones

Placebo in the princess theature in Melbourne..Im seeing the butterfly effect too which i cant wait to see.

Frank black from the pixies.

Back in Oct. I saw Kid Rock at the Taft Theater in Cincinatti OH. It was one of the best shows I have seen him at & I've seen him 14 times

I saw Down on their first tour in a club that held about 500 and it was an amazing show. Plus it was half of Pantera, which is good cause I never got to see the real thing. Also, Dope at a show that only had about 100 people at the most. Intimate shows are the best.

Almost every show I go to where I live is in a small venue, and I've seen some pretty amazing shows.

Some of my top faves:
Anberlin
Something Corporate
Emarosa
Blessthefall
The Chariot

Tons...

1) W.A.S.P., Metallica, Armoured Saint
2) Voivod, Soundgarden, Faith No More
3) Celtic Frost, Voivod
4) Anthrax
5) The Exploited

yes... all were in small venues (General Admission).

DevilDriver was really good.

1) Nine Inch Nails
2) Megadeth
3) Billy Talent
4) Andrew WK
5) Danko Jones
6) Nickelback (before they sucked)
7) Big Wreck
8) A Perfect Circle
9) Smashing Pumpkins
10) Headstones
