Question about guitar cable and amp?!
Question: I have a Fender Squier and a Fender Squier 15 amp. Bought it used (not something I would recommend) and finally have it in fairly good working condition. My only concern now is my instrument cable. Whenever I plug it into my guitar/amp, I have to spend a good five minutes wiggling the cord around just to get any sound. It is not a problem with the guitar, I have already ruled that out. Could it be that I just need a new cord?

It's probly the solder loose in the cord but in some cases if the amp is used it could be the jack in the amp. I would start by getting a new cable. Crate guitar cords are cheap about $8.00 and they have a lifetime warranty. I have been using the same cords with my Marshall for about 3 years and the sound hasn't changed and the cords have very little wear, I use em everyday.
yes, new cord.
how did you determine it was not the guitar?
