Does it takes a long time to learn how to play a guitar?!
Question: My dad can play really well, my mom finished the piano school..
im goth and i wanna learn how to play a giutar, im 15 , if that matters.
So is it hard, does it take a long time?

it can take a few weeks or a few years. it all depends on how hard try and how complicated the stuff you wanna learn is. some advice i would have for playing the stuff you want to would be:
memorize the fretboard (with what notes are where)
learn the major scale
learn how to play a power chord
get a good chromatic tuner.
a nice guitar is easier to play on but for learning you might wanna start with a fairly cheap one (unless your dad will let you play on his). then a nice one is REALLY easy to play on.
