Practice Practice Practice. Also, even though it may not help you for your particular style, join a choir. You'll learn a lot and can apply that to any genre of music. It's also a great way to make some friends and have fun. Also looks good on a transcript for college.

for sheet music and listen to the songs and try to sing along using the sheet music. It really works if you have the determination.

okay first off....thats just plain hot i'm sry lol
second, what u need of confidence. i can't sing at all, flat-out. but i had the potential to when i was younger and i let people knock me down. now i didnt get to train my voice and it still sucks haha.
third, if you're rrreealllyy into this (which i know you are) then go get a voice coach! it can even be your chorus teacher i dont know! my friend used to have a singing tutor in church though.
and fourth....well.....go you!!! haha. i just can't wait 'til ur famous and then i'll be all "i totally used to answer this guy's questions on Y!A when he was startin' out!!"
