Pantera.....Metallica was always slightly overrated and sold out. Nirvana was great, but also a bit overrated and we never got to see their true potential. Pantera, on the other hand, was one band that always rocked, always made me want to smash something with my fist. although they took a bit of a break before their final album, i thought it was awesome....contrary to what other fans i met said of it. Pantera rules.

and i say Nirvana, out of sentimentality. that was my growing up band. although my first two experiences with modern rock was Nirvana - Nevermind and Metallica's Black Album (from my mom, nonetheless)

i hate nirvana, metallica's got some good songs but not really into them, so i'd say pantera because from the 2nd album on their music was real heavy and im into real heavy music

Pantera. the other 2 were good too, but WAY OVER-PLAYED. got too annoying

I was a late bloomer when it came to rock music, after having a couple metallica obsesed friends I finally got used to the rock music even tho I dont reallt listen to them much anymore they opened me up to metal, even if there not so much metal any more and I love metal now.But I do like Pantera too.

its a toss up between metallica and pantera. dimebag is sick, and their songs really kick your ***. metallica has released many more hits
i dont like nirvana very much and doesnt even belong in the same class as those other 2
Metallica---simply because ive been listening to them since they came out with kill em all,,,,, i like Nirvana and Pantera,,but i love Metallica's old stuff.

metallica was one of the founders of thrash, pantera is the successor of thrash, nirvana's kurt cobain killed himself, made me sad, and thats y i listen to all of these bands but in this order of interest

Pantera I just cannot stand for very long and Metallica only has like 3 or 4 good songs out of all their 8 CD's.
