Software to trim music?!
Question: Hi, does anyone know of any free software I could d/l to trim music with? I have some music sets that are way too big to fit onto a disc and I would like to trim some off the end so to speak. Thanks

If you can run to ￡10 the Audio Cleaning Lab by Magix does that and much more.
MP3 Tag Studio is a good one I've found, it has auto- and mass-tagging facilities, but also a trimming and repairing tool.

Audacity is very simple and free and PC / Mac

You might already have Windows Movie Maker on your computer.
Open Windows Movie Maker and click Import Media and select the song you want, then drag it onto the timeline at the bottom of the screen, just drag the end of the song across to trim it off.
When you're finished go to 'File' then 'Publish Movie' and it should save it as a Windows Media Audio file.
