lol I JUST answered a question like this, so I'm going to copy my response to that one here.
"Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple is definitely an easy beginner's song.
The intro to "Enter Sandman" by Metallica is easy too and so is the intro to "One" by Metallica.
Intro to "Highway to Hell" By AC/DC.
"The Ballad of Chasey Lain" by the Bloodhound Gang.
Intros to "Otherside", "By The Way" and "Californication" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath.
"Like A Stone" by Audioslave.
Marilyn Manson's "Sweet Dreams".
"Coma White" and "Get your Gunn" by Manson are also easy.
"Polly" by Nirvana.
Intro to "Crazy Train" by Ozzy (its simple..its more about speed..so practice)
I think those would be good for very, very new beginners. They're pretty basic. If you need any tabs for those or any more songs, let me know. I tried to give you varying songs because I don't know what you like heh.

You can try songs by the Jonas Brothers too. Trust me, their music is the easiest. I have a friend who's a fan (I hate the Jonas Brothers), and I bet that I could learn 3 songs in two days. I won. And I was only playing for 3 weeks.
The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson. It's pretty much only 3 or 4 notes the whole time. Though from what I see in the Rock and Pop section, most people don't like Marilyn Manson for whatever reason. So if not that, then I would say One by Metallica. Only the intro and beginning riff though. Hope this helps.

I've only been playing for a couple of weeks, and I learned those songs within a matter of minutes.
Go to google and look up the tabs for those songs.
They're incredibly easy to play and they sound really good!
