Question: I keep hearing songs sining, my boo, you will always be my boo, etc etc, I heard one on the radio this morning I thought boo was when you scared someone like 'BOO' or boo hoo meaning crying?

Boo must be the new word for their baby - as in boy/girl friend
Boo is slang for "baby girl" or boy and it's not new. That slang is fairly old.
