It's tough to say if someone is a pre-writer. A lot of freestylers will use things they've thought of before or use something twice in two different freestyles.
I'd say two of my favorites are Murda Mook and Serious Jones.
As for bigger name people:
Canibus is probably my favorite freestyler of all time.
And Eminem always holds it down (or used to, anyways).
And Proof (RIP) has had some funny *** raps on freestyles, back in the day, with Em.
Edit: To the other post: Outside of 106 Jin is terrible. Serious Jones absolutely destroyed him. Jin looked like he wanted to cry. It was one of the baddest beat downs I've ever seen.
Of cousre Mos, and you gotta check Phonte (little Brother). If you have the Minstrel Show, listen to the song called cheatin (not the one with lil wayne)
