Do you love or hate the boy bands?!
Question: and i mean the true boy bands. like the backstreet boys, hanson, new kids on the block, five, o town, dreamstreet, 98 degrees, boyzone....etc. i am a rocker by the way lol i mean i like rock music. zac from hanson was cute when they first started. i liked there long hair. anyway i am really not fond of the boy bands but i was curious about your opinions haha.

Personally, I can't stand them...never did, even when my own mates (*shudder*) thought they were cool! lol.
I just think they're too commercial...too factory made. That is - they're all set up by higher managers and that for one purpose - to extract money out of the market that either think they're hot (girls) or cool (boys).
They have no substance, no originality...their lyrics have no feeling or meaning. To me, they're money making machines - and to be honest although the members get fame and fortune - I feel sorry for them because ultimately, they're just being used for their youth and looks...they're no real talent and they'll sadly learn that the hard way as most of those bands did...by fading away within a few years of success.
So yeah...not a big fan - at all!

I can't help that I grew up liking Spice Girls and boy bands.. they're always gonna be awesome to me.

I like backstreet boys, for one they are still around. If they had no talent and "sucked" so bad they stil wouldnt be here. If it weren't for them, there wouldn't be some of the bands there are today. Nobody says you have to like their music, they are just doing something they love. You don't hear people saying you suck because your doing something you love and enjoy do you. I'm sorry but it gets me when people who don't like backstreet boys or nsync or 98 degrees cuts em down. Also if you look at any of the songs any artist recorded, not all of them write their songs either. 99% of the time someone else has written any artists' music. Not just the boy bands.
