Electric Guitar Problem?!

Question: yeah... so i was about to plug my guitar to my amp when something didn't quite go as planned... I tried to plug the chord into my guitar, but it wouldnt go in.

So i unscrewed all the stuff on the guitar to see what was wrong. And I found out that the thing that the chord goes into was loose and it kept moving around, so I can't plug my guitar up to an amp.

Anybody know anyway fix this (other than sending it in cuz i think my guitar's warranty expired... >_< ) ???

PLEASE HELP!!! (I have a js30rr, if the guitar model makes any difference)

There should be a nut that you can hand screw the 1/4 inch jack into. It probably fell off of your guitar if it is just sitting there loose. You sould see threads like a screw on the jack of your guitar. If there is no nut, theres your problem.

Tighten it up .......if you cant do this then ask in a guitar shop for help.
