If it weren't for them doing Tainted Love, then Manson would never have done it, not to mention the many songs that sample Soft Cell's synth riff.
I do love Manson's version though, he totally makes it his own with a nice nod to Soft Cell's version by sampling their synth sound.

Gotta with Soft Cell's version, though Manson's is very good (I think its his best cover). Soft Cell even remixed their original song which I think sounds even better than the original. It's called 'Tainted Love/ Where Did Our Love Go'. Check it out.
Yeah, the Pussycat Dolls version is pretty awful. However, Rhianna sampled it effectively in her song, 'S.O.S.'

Honestly I have fallen in love with the Manson version. I just listened to the Soft Cell version and I think Manson's was more fun.

Actually, "Tainted Love" goes back to 1964 and was recorded at least twice BEFORE Soft Cell covered it.
I would have to go with Manson because I prefer metal. But Soft Cell's version is great too.
